I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I love everything written by this author. This book is no exception. Wow. Is this book ever hot! Lily and Justin have been together for about 14 months. They are deeply in love. She knows he used to have BDSM relationships but it isn't until they meet one of his old 'girlfriends' at the mall that things start bothering Lily. It seems the old girlfriend, Maddie, was the one submissive that Justin lived with. Lily is full of questions, the main one for Justin being, how can he give up something he used to love doing (being a dominant)? He assures her over and over that he loves her and that is the difference; he never loved his submissives. But Lily persist with questions and insists that Justin must be missing that dominant side of his nature and she is afraid he will.leave her if she doesn't provide that part of his life. She begs him to try BDSM with her to see if she likes it. She's read about it and is interested. He balks but finally agrees. They try. They both enjoy. Then there's a little drama at a nightclub. Justin decides he can't see Lily anymore because he DOES like BDSM again but he loves Lily and is afraid he could hurt her or not protect her. She is crushed! Will they get back together? LOVE THE BOOK
This was an exciting book! First time to read this author. Draws you into the story with the characters. Must Read!
Lily and Justin get their HEA through trial and error, not instalove. It's a nice change of pace to see a power exchange relationship that grows, rather than ignites.
Great intro to a little kink...Justin and Lily are happy until they run into Justin's ex and Lily can't stop thinking about how Justin used to be in his past and wants to explore it with him...
Sophie Brooks has presented a different take on the Dom/submissive relationship in Wild Rush. Can a Dom repress his needs in order to be in a vanilla relationship and remain whole? Can a woman curious about BDSM go back once she gets a taste? Once the two venture into the realm of a BDSM relationship can each gets what they need and want and remain tighter? Wild Rush is a steamy romance that has the couple examining their relationship. A very enjoyable read.
This book is a bit different than a typical bad boy romance, but in no way does that deter it from being truly enlightening and appealing to read. Justin & Lily have been together for a little over a year, but Lily feels that even though they are in love - that Justin is missing something to fully fulfill his life and their relationship, the kink!
I enjoyed reading this book as their relationship grows through trials and error.

Can a 28 year old Dom decide to be vanilla for the girl that he loves? Well he did up until he told his girlfriend a vague idea of is past and what he did. So with the knowledge Lily started to read BDSM related stories and she has her heart set on trying to with Justin. All that changed when - the story starts out with a kiss- one of Justin's last subs kisses him in front of Lily in the mall, a small catch up and now Lily feels left out from one Lily didn't know who this perfect model was and two how Justin know all about her so she feels down. Later what she know who the woman was, asked questions upon questions and a bit of pushing Justin gives into Lily's interest in BDSM. They journey has some ups and downs but when Lily's life is threatened will their love stop and their pleasure be gone....
